Pool Tile Orlando

Spa & Hot Tub Tile

Specialty tile work on attached spas and standalone hot tubs — higher heat, tighter tolerances.

Typical project range: $400 - $3,500

Attached spas and standalone hot tubs have the same tile, different conditions. Higher temperatures (100-104°F), more aggressive thermal cycling, tighter spaces, and usually more decorative tile — all of which change how we approach the work.

Common spa tile issues

  • Cracked glass tile from thermal shock
  • Loose tile along the spa spillway lip
  • Calcium buildup (faster than pools due to heat)
  • Grout failure around jets and returns

Our spa tile services

  • Full spa retile (new glass, porcelain, or mosaic)
  • Spot tile repair around jets, steps, seating
  • Spillway lip tile replacement
  • Calcium removal from spa tile

Frequently asked questions

Is spa tile different from pool tile?
Same materials, but spa tile handles higher temps (100-104°F vs. 80-85°F for pools) and more thermal cycling. That accelerates wear, and tile selection matters more. Glass and high-quality porcelain handle spa conditions best.
Can you repair a built-in spa separately from the pool?
Yes. Attached spillover spas can be repaired independently — we lower water just in the spa section, do the work, and refill. Pool stays in service.
